you hold him and squeeze him (gently) and love him because he is so very cute.
you even wish you could take him home and keep him as a pet but then you realize that he might miss his family so you don't do such a thing.
then you come home and admire the artwork you made for za husbands birthday last year because it's a horny toad.
p.s. we named the little guy in the artwork spotsworth (to be said with a brittish accent)
Za Russian loves the spotworth horny toad guy. He is very handsome, and quite polite.

ReplyDeleteBobbie.....It's super cute isn't it? Mia would most likely fall in love with one if she saw it in real life. It actually ran in front of my mom and I. At first glance I thought it was a spider and kept going but then my mom noticed it was a cute little critter so I stopped and picked it up and loved on it for a bit.
Melissa...so do I. It's pretty rare on our hikes to spot them so when we do it's certainly a special occasion in my book! :) It's the little things in life!
IM SO SCARED OF IT!!!!!!! I wouldnt hold that thing if you paid me! I'd run away screaming :( Im such a baby, im even scared of butterflies...
ReplyDeleteCamille... What if I paid you a million dollars? I remember when we first met we discussed your intense fear of bugs. I can understand the fear of most creepy crawlies but this little guy and butterflies...that's kinda funny! I get it though...we each have our thing. You aren't a baby. I have some of the most silly fears.
ReplyDeleteyes i would for a million, Heck id even do it for 1000 bucks but id be crying the whole time and probably squish the poor little thing to death from pure fright! Ive always said If i had to go into one of those butterfly atriums at the zoo It would be a giant massacure with me freaking out a swatting at every thing that flew at me... LEts just say I have issues ;)
