meet the newest member of our family....

her name is houndstooth

while i would love to keep all of the kittens it just isn't practical.
we are still considering keeping one more besides this little girl but when it comes down to it i'm not sure we'll keep another. it's so hard to say yes to one and no to the rest when they are each cute in their own way and we are equally attached  however, i'm not sure that i picked houndstooth... i think she picked me. that always seems to be the case with pets in my life. 

in fact when they were all brand new i had already ruled out the idea of keeping her because she is a twin to the mama kitty and i thought it would be silly to have matching cats.  i had my heart set on one of the fluffy white ones but somewhere along the line things changed.

so here's to the unspoken agreement between this little kitten and us.
