as promised here is the rest on our trip to vegas over the weekend. 
za husband is basically obsessed with cars.  he likes to spend his spare time in the garage working on either his car or truck and he dreams of buying things for his vehicles just like i dream of buying every item in anthropologie.  needless to say this go-kart adventure of ours was pretty awesome for him.  in fact last year for his bachelor party he went to this same racing place with his car loving friend john (best man in our wedding) and a group of their buddies.  john and will supposedly were fighting each other for the top spot last time so this time was a competitive rematch.  za husband was pretty much in heaven at this event and i loved watching him race around happily.

since i didn't race i sat with this little guy while his family played.

we hit it off and quickly became best buds.  i find that i get along with kids more than adults most of the time. 

then i asked him to be our photographer...

not bad at all. 

on our drive to vegas we snacked on bugles.  i entertained myself and will....mostly myself...by biting the end of the bugle off and using it as a little megaphone like so...

you seriously would have thought it was the funniest thing in the world the way i laughed about it.  must have been a little sleep deprived.

anyway back to za husbands car obsession.  

our friend john (a.k.a. stick, not the same john as best man john) recently made a website about cars and he featured will's 1973 firebird.  so they took it out for a photo shoot and i was pretty impressed with the photos....
