i remember thinking before we moved.....i'm going to take pictures of every little moment to document this joyous occasion we've waited for the last 6 months. this is how far i got...
(leaving my moms house with both of our vehicles insanely stuffed
and me shedding a tear or two because i hate
change that much. even when it's a good change)

[pulling sassy into the back yard to use the french doors for much easier unloading]

{taking a picture of the handsome husband the moment we walked in
and thinking that i could not believe it was actually happening
and feeling a little nervous but really excited}

[laughing at Brandon and Will as they installed the oven
for 2 hours and nearly gave up because it wouldn't work after they put
it together and took it apart a few times.
then eureka!!!!!
there is another breaker box in the house
that needs a switch flipped.
those poor guys were so frustrated once that oven was all said
and done]

yep...that is it.  that's all i managed to capture of that glorious day.
it proved to be rather exhausting and grueling and it got to a point that
i could care less where my camera was.
now i can look back and wish i would have
done a better job of documenting but what's a girl to do when a u-haul full of boxes is
calling her name.
oh well.....all i know is it feels good to be home.  really good.

  1. :) We're moving in July and I'm super anxious, scared and excited all at the same time.

Anxious and scared cause moving sucks and it feels like we have sooo much stuff. But excited because it will be the first place we picked out together on our own, and redecorating and organizing is always fun. Plus the location is awesome. You'll have to come visit! We have a futon :)

  3. Packing and moving is the worst. But setting up the new house is awesome! Especially if you're Skye and make it look beautiful in 5 minutes.

  4. Moving has always sucked! I remember that no matter when or where we moved it always rained on your dad and I. I love the picture of Will's low rider leaving my home and the picture of the two genius's puzzling over the oven.
