the drive to jerome

we decided a few days ago that it was high time we go on a road trip adventure.

we are both fans of quick little day trips especially to jerome, sedona, or flagstaff.

i'm thinking za husband should be looking at the road....i have to frequently remind him of such things. 

at this point we were discussing how cloudy rainy weather makes us extremely happy and gives us extra energy.....we are cool that way.

okay now get this....i think i blogged about it last time we went to jerome because there were two street signs that were significant but this time there were four, of course my camera wasn't ready to capture all of the signs....next time. 

robert is my dad's name and will's middle name.

coffeepot is the name of our stray mama kitty who now has a loving home.

the other signs were audley which was my grandpa's name (dad's side),

then there was willard which is actually will's full name. 

it was kind of exciting to see all those, doesn't take much to keep me entertained.

i was snapping pictures like crazy as soon as we got to the mountains.  it is the prettiest drive and the weather was beautiful.  so this is me hanging out the window as we were zooming through the twisted road to jerome.

you know when you take a picture and for some reason it just turns out like you would want, but you aren't sure how and you could probably never duplicate it? 

that is this picture.  i just kept snapping and this one happened.  i love how happy we look and how wonderful the background is...new favorite for sure.
